Managing Service Principals
Service Principals added in different modules can be managed in a common place in Settings. The Service Principals added in one module can be utilized in other modules.
- The above-said principles do not apply to Cost Analyzer.

Adding a Service Principal
- Users can add a Service Principal by clicking Add in Service Principals of Settings.
- Enter a valid Friendly name, Client id, Client secret, tenant id, and Client secret expiry date.
- Click Validate and click Add to add the Service Principal.
Editing a Service Principal
- Clicking Edit in the Actions of added Service Principal should enable the user to perform edit upon client secret and client secret expiry date.
- Clicking Validate and Update will edit the Service Principal.
Deleting a Service Principal
Clicking upon Delete in the Actions of added Service Principal should enable the user to delete the same.
Configuring Service Principal expiry alerts
It is difficult to keep track of the expiry date of a user's client secret created in Azure portal.
Serverless360 allows customers to configure the expiry date of the secrets so that the users can get notified 7 days before the expiration date.
Users can set the Client secret expiry date when adding or editing a Service Principal.
- To configure Service Principal Client Secret expiry alerts click on the Configure alerts in Service Principals of Settings.
- Select the Service Principal for which you want the alerts to be sent.
- Click Next.
- Choose the Channels for which you want the alerts to be notified and click Update.
